About the Role

We are seeking a high-calibre, permanent Construction Project Manager to lead high-end design and build commercial office fit-out projects in the City of London (EC3M).

Based near Fenchurch Street station, you will take overarching responsibility for the life cycle of these fast-paced schemes—from pre-construction planning through to final handover. Working closely with clients, commercial teams, and site operations, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Spearhead the end-to-end delivery of high-end office fit-out projects, managing programmes, resources, and critical paths.
• Commercial & Financial Control: Work alongside surveyors to track project costs, manage variations, and deliver commercially successful schemes.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and consultants, managing expectations and fostering strong working relationships.
• Design Coordination: Oversee the design team to ensure construction drawings are accurate, approved, and seamlessly integrated on site.
• Team & Subcontractor Oversight: Directly manage Site Managers and coordinate major trade contractors to ensure performance, safety, and quality metrics are met.

Requirements

To be successful in this Project Manager role, you must possess:

• Design and Build Fit-Out Expertise: A strong, proven track record of successfully managing high-end, high-value commercial office design and build fit-outs.
• Leadership Skills: Experience acting as the principal lead on-site, while maintaining collaborative relationships with corporate clients.
• Qualifications: Relevant construction degree or equivalent NVQ Level 6/7, alongside valid SMSTS and a Black CSCS Card.
