About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager with strong Design and Build experience for an immediate start on a high-end commercial office fit-out project in the City of London (EC3M).

You will take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, managing subcontractor performance, and ensuring the interior fit-out is delivered safely, on schedule, and to an exceptional standard. This is an ongoing contract position requiring a professional who excels in client-facing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Subcontractor Management: Oversee the day-to-day activities of all relevant contractors and subcontractors on site.
• Design & Build Delivery: Ensure all works have the necessary design documentation and are installed strictly in accordance with those designs and timelines, coordinating closely with the Design and Build project team.
• Client Relations: Manage client expectations directly, adopting a professional and proactive approach to maintain excellent working relationships.
• Quality & Handover: Oversee the final snagging process, quality assurance controls, and successful project handover.

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following specific skills and qualifications:

• Experience: A proven track record of delivering projects within high-end Design and Build interior office fit-outs. Design and Build experience is essential.
• Qualifications: Valid SMSTS certificate and an NVQ Level 6 Black CSCS Card.
• Safety: Valid First Aid at Work certification.
