We are currently looking for a Construction Site Logistics Delivery Manager for construction site near Weybridge in Surrey, KT15.

• Assignment rate: £325 per day
• Hours: 7.30am - 5.30pm, 5 days a week with some Saturdays
• Duration: 18 months initially

Required qualifications

• Gold or Black CSCS card
• SMSTS
• First Aid at Work
• CLOCS Practitioner (desirable)
• Must be able to pass BPSS and Counter Terrorism Check

Skills & experience

• Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel (reporting, tracking, administration)
• Experience with Datascope or another Delivery Management System (DMS) — desirable
• Confident communicator able to influence and engage stakeholders

Role purpose

The Weybridge Logistics Manager / Transport Coordinator provides the practical day-to-day link between the NBC programme, Business as Usual (BAU) operations on the APHA site, and the contractors whose works create logistics and transport impacts across shared areas of the campus.

The role is to keep the site working safely and coherently as a live operational campus while construction proceeds — balancing programme needs with BAU access, security, science operations, maintenance, welfare, emergency access, traffic routing, and deliveries. You will also oversee use of the Defra-provided Delivery Management System across BAU and NBC vehicle activity, in line with the Construction Transport Management Plan.

There is no direct labour management in this role. However, a key part of the position involves encouraging, influencing, and bringing BAU staff on board with the new system — so confidence dealing with people is essential.
